In this issue this month's Newsletter we hope to address issues that clearly cause concern amongst some people.

Bucks CC FC is a club with almost 300 players registered, it is important for us all to remember that we are 1 Club comprised of 13 Teams

Pitches

We do not have any grounds maintenance outside of pitch marking and cutting.

We can only accommodate 3 teams playing at any one time at Bucks CC Sports & Social Club on the three pitch areas. Since the expansion of Booker Park School and the loss of some trees, the drainage of the pitches has caused major problems.

The steps taken each and every week are not to stop everybody from playing football but to preserve the surfaces of the pitches – we always do our bet to get all fixtures played. When we have to utilise council facilities there is a cost of £42 per match – this is not an expense we wish to outlay

Bucks CC Sports & Social Club

We are indebted to Bucks CC Sports & Social Club as guests and members for the use of probably the best facilities in the various leagues – if we lost access to these facilities then we would have to consider higher match fees to meet the increased levels of expenditure.

The Car parking is limited and we have to share the facility with people who are hiring the hall and their guests and also our opposition teams. There are only 64 spaces and means the car park in Booker Park School should be used by all of our football club for parking, collection and dropping off players.

The income generated by hiring the facility is vital to the continue presence of the social club - so please no Bucks CC FC cars to use the Club Car Park until after 16.00

Volunteers

Running costs are on the increase – and we are are now required to cover the cost of grass cutting and pitch marking,   We are indebted to the U11’S  for  running  the tea bar, a fantastic facility for all supporters, players and managers as well as a great source of income, The U10 parents have also helped but we need all teams to take a turn or two.  If you are only comfortable serving Hot Drinks that is fine and can only give an hour this would support your Club.

A message from the Sports & Social Club Chairman

Please keep the grounds free of litter and use bins provided - the patio area should be kept free of mud as there are often hall hires for christenings and parties on a Sunday afternoon. There is a bench outside the changing rooms under the canopy to change muddy footwear – help us keep your Club clean and tidy.

No dogs are allowed within the grounds of Bucks CC Sports & Social Club. Dog mess as well as being unpleasant and a nuisance it is possible to contract Toxocariasis which could lead to blindness

Please take the time to visit the your Club web site which provides an effective means of sourcing any information  for both players and parents for matches – www.bucksccfootball.co.uk  - encourage your children to visit the site to find out what is happening – this is their Club and your feedback and comments are welcomed.
